Request an
Investigation |
| |
 |
| |
Before requesting an investigation, please
review the regulations presented below. These are regulations and
procedures for INFINITY Paranormal Investigations network members
and divisions. They are non-negotiable. Please read carefully before
submitting a request for an investigation. Thank
you. |
|
| Equipment |
| |
| |
IPIN uses only non-contact,
non-destructive equipment to perform the following tasks:
video recording; audio recording; electro magnetic field
measurements; and infra-red thermo graphic
measurements.
Generally speaking, this equipment takes the form
of hand-held cameras and other equipment though most items can
also be set up in a stationary position using tripods or
similar equipment.
On occasion, given secure circumstances, audio and
video equipment can be left unattended, however, as a rule,
equipment will at least be monitored by IPIN personnel. Other
scientific measurement devices such as thermo graphic and EMF
devices are a hands-on affair and do require an
operator.
At no time will the client be allowed to operate,
touch, handle, move, alter, interfere with or otherwise
interact with IPIN equipment without expressed permission by
IPIN personnel and then only on a per-instance
basis.

|
|
| |
| Safety & Precaution |
| |
| |
IPIN reserves the right to make
judgment on the safety of an investigation in part or as a
whole. If a property is determined to be unsafe by IPIN
personnel, the investigation in whole or in part will not
happen. At no time
will it be considered acceptable for IPIN personnel to be
locked into or otherwise be refused egress from any room,
home, building, facility, structure or
property.
|
|
| |
| Property Damage |
| |
| |
IPIN will bear all reasonable
costs of damages caused by it’s personnel. Additionally, all
IPIN personnel will bear any costs related to personal injury
not caused though negligence or by direct fault or action of
the property owner, those renting/leasing the property, their
clients, employees or representatives.
Additionally, the client will
be responsible for all damages to IPIN equipment caused
by/though negligence or by direct fault or action of the
property owner, those renting/leasing the property, their
clients, employees or representatives.
|
|
| |
| Compensation |
| |
| |
IPIN does not require any amount
of cash or other compensation in exchange for its services.
However, do we ask that accommodations be made available
to/for IPIN personnel such as rest rooms, drinking water,
electricity (if available), space to set up equipment, and
possibly smoking facilities or access to the
outdoors.
We do also ask that clients
that are companies, institutions and other formal entities
involving investigations that require either a long drive,
overnight or multi-day investigations make some form of
lodging arrangements available for IPIN
personnel.
These arrangements can be as
simple as making a room available for the use of sleeping bags
or as elaborate as hotel accommodations. If motel/hotel
accommodations are provided for IPIN personnel, generally
speaking, two (2) rooms will be needed - one for males and one
for females.
It should be noted, however,
that the extent and expense of any accommodations provided
will not have any affect on the outcome of the
investigation.
|
|
| |
| Evidence |
| |
| |
IPIN reserves all rights,
copyrights and privileges on all evidence collected at any
sight unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Generally speaking, IPIN will provide a copy of any video
and/or audio evidence to the client, should such evidence be
collected.
IPIN will always provide a
detailed written report of the investigation and, if possible,
an in-person discussion with the client regarding the
investigation and it’s findings.
Anyone seeking to use
evidence acquired by and/or provided by IPIN for publicity,
advertisement, and/or any other activity available to the
public either in part or in whole, either free and/or for a
fee, must first make arrangements with IPIN to do so. Failure
to comply with this stipulation will result in legal
action.
When IPIN undertakes a field
investigation, a number of events will take place. 1.
Meeting on time at the specified location 2. Brief
discussion regarding any conditions that may affect the
investigation. 3. Safety survey by IPIN personnel. 4.
General meeting with the clients regarding occurrences at the
location. 5. Possible interviews with witnesses. 6. Walk
through of property with client. 7. Equipment placement and
testing procedure survey. 8. Equipment set up and any
pre-testing needed. 9. The actual investigation. 10.
Equipment breakdown. 11. Walk though with client inspecting
all property for any damages. 12. Signing of walk through
results and explanation of procedures leading to the IPIN
final report.
While it is not necessary, we do prefer
that the client and/or their representative be on hand during
an investigation. If this is not possible, we do require that
they be on hand prior to IPIN leaving any
property!
